How to join Darwin Swimming Club

If you are interested in joining Darwin Swimming Club, the first step would be to attend a free trial session. At the session, our experienced coaches will assess you/your child's swimming ability and provide recommendations on the most suitable squad to join.

The second step is to join the club by clicking on the Join Now button. This provides you with membership to Darwin Swimming Club/Swimming NT and allows you to enter competitions (if you have elected to be a competitive swimmer). This membership fee includes a fee to Swimming Australia Limited and Swimming NT. To view the cost of membership for this season, please click here.

You will be provided with a username and password to enter competitions. Please note all swimmers under 16 years of age require at least one parent/guardian to also become a member. The cost for a parent to join is $15.

During this process, you will be asked which squad you are registering for and whether you will be competing. There is a slightly higher fee for those who wish to compete. We are happy to accept NT Sports Vouchers as part payment.

Once you have completed your details and your membership fee is paid you can get swimming!

In addition to the above membership, which is valid for one year, coaching fees are invoiced directly from Coach Tim at the beginning of each term. Click here to view the coaching fees.

If you are transferring from another swim club, permission must be obtained from your old club to transfer to Darwin Swimming Club. We will complete this process for you. Please contact our registrar on darwin.swim.registrar@gmail.com to start this process.

Pool entry is not included in your membership fee and will need to be paid on entry to the pool. More information on Parap Pool, including entry fees, can be found at the City of Darwin website.
